Funeral expenses

MAC can help towards the cost of the funeral, including burial, cremation and monument following the death of a family member. 

The MAC Scheme covers expenses up to a maximum of 10% of the annual average weekly earnings. To see the current benefit amount, see the current benefits table.

If you are responsible for the funeral costs , we can pay the funds directly to the funeral service provider or reimburse you if you provide us with receipt of payment.
